Clearance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environment Clearance Specialist to join our team.

This role will be critical in ensuring the smooth execution of new mining operations and achieving our business vision.

• Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and liaison with regulatory agencies for environment clearance, compliance, and permitting.
• Ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and laws.
• Development and implementation of an effective Environment Management Plan (EMP).
• Obtaining necessary permits and approvals for mine operations, including Forest Clearances.
• Coordinating with land and R&R teams for allotment of CA Land.
• Facilitating public hearings and Gram Sabhas to ensure social license for mines operationalization.
• Designing and executing governance systems for monitoring environmental and statutory compliances as stipulated in EC & FC approvals and Vedanta HSE and Sustainability standards.

Key Requirements:

• Post-Graduate degree in Geology/Environmental Sciences or Engineering.
• 10-16 years of relevant experience in environment clearance and permitting.
• High-quality leadership skills with a proven track record of driving transformational change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
