Cloud Infrastructure Architect Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AWS cloud infrastructure.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing our cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Administer company SaaS platforms to enhance user productivity, focusing on tools like Okta and AWS Workspaces.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
