The Platform & DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in the development of new capabilities in data science, data analytics, eCommerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate our business strategy. This position will require hands-on work on one or more public cloud platforms leveraging several PaaS and marketplace services.

The individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and security. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources. Additionally, they will monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and security.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and maintain cloud services and resources.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Enterprise IT Experience: 3+ years minimum experience in Enterprise IT Environments.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Kubernetes: Strong Kubernetes knowledge and hands-on working experience.
  • IAC Code Experience: Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or Pulumi).
  • Programming Skills: Strong experience in Python or Golang.
  • Cloud Marketplace Services: Hands-on experience with implementing Cloud marketplace services and technologies.
  • Networking Protocols: Knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks.
