Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at a dynamic organization.

About the Role:
  • Test Automation Framework Development: Develop and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber, and Mocha/Jest.
  • Automated Testing: Execute and optimize automated test scripts using Selenium, WebdriverIO, Protractor, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Database Validation: Write and optimize SQL and SOQL queries to validate data in relational databases and Salesforce.
  • CICD Pipeline Integration: Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with developers and QA team to identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and coverage gaps.
  • Perform functional, regression, cross-browser, and data validation testing.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot automation failures, logging detailed defects in tracking tools like JIRA and Azure DevOps.
Requirements:
  • Experience with test automation frameworks like POM, BDD, and Mocha/Jest.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
