Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering practices, you will play a vital role in shaping our cloud infrastructure and driving business impact through high-quality product engineering.

This is a craft-driven team that values curiosity, continuous learning, and a hands-on approach to solving problems. We believe in a learning-first culture that encourages experimentation, clear communication, and technical depth.

In this role, you will collaborate across teams and lead technical discussions with clients and internal teams. You will mentor junior team members through pair programming sessions and adapt to different roles and technologies as project needs evolve.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale cloud infrastructure systems, proficiency in at least one programming language, and a good understanding of software delivery principles and technical agility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge to drive growth and development within the team
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Linux and software-defined networking expertise
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Chef
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery concepts
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD
  • Familiarity with Cloud-Native ecosystem and tools like Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Envoy
  • Deep understanding of containers and container orchestrators like Nomad, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Ability to manage and organize infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK
  • Familiarity with primary cloud providers like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure
