About the Position:

  • This leadership role oversees the procurement process, encompassing strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
  • We are seeking a skilled professional to lead vendor development and management, identifying reliable vendors for solar components and services. The successful candidate will conduct regular evaluations and audits to ensure quality, performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • The ideal candidate will develop and implement cost-control strategies to optimize procurement spend, analyzing supplier quotations and conducting thorough commercial evaluations.
  • Process compliance and documentation are crucial aspects of this role, ensuring adherence to internal policies, statutory guidelines, and project specifications. Transparent documentation and reporting mechanisms are also essential for audits and internal controls.
  • Cross-functional collaboration is key to success in this position, working closely with Project Management, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams. The successful candidate will monitor material requirement plans and proactively address supply risks or delays.
  • Effective team leadership and development are critical components of this role, leading and mentoring the procurement team to build capability and performance. Establishing KPIs, monitoring progress, and driving process improvements across the department are essential responsibilities.
