Procurement Leadership Opportunity

The procurement function is a critical component of our organization's success. As the Head of Procurement, you will play a key role in developing and implementing procurement strategies that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

About the Role

This leadership position requires strong strategic thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and project timelines, driving bulk buying and project-based procurement for long lead items and engineered bought-outs, ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules across multiple sites and units, and developing a reliable vendor base through technical and commercial screening.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Drive bulk buying and project-based procurement for long lead items and engineered bought-outs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules across multiple sites and units.
  • Develop a reliable vendor base through technical and commercial screening.
  • Ensure procurement records, approvals, and documentation are accurate and audit-ready.

To excel in this role, you should have experience leading cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and making data-driven decisions. You will also need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, engineering, or supply chain management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
