Senior Director of Renewable Energy and BESS

Lead the full lifecycle of renewable energy and energy storage projects, from concept to commissioning.

Oversee multiple project portfolios with a sharp focus on timely delivery, quality control, and cost optimization.

Implement robust project monitoring systems (dashboards, KPIs, risk tracking).

Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and environmental compliance for all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic growth and operational excellence in the renewable energy and BESS domain.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology options, project partnerships, and business models for optimal impact.
  • Project Execution & Delivery - Oversee multiple project portfolios with a sharp focus on timely delivery, quality control, and cost optimization.
  • Operations & Maintenance - Set up efficient O&M frameworks for long-term performance and asset lifecycle management of deployed renewable and BESS assets.
  • Team Building & Leadership - Lead and mentor project, engineering, and O&M teams across locations.


Requirements:

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering; MBA preferred.
- 18–25 years of experience with at least 10 years in senior leadership roles in the renewable energy/BESS/EPC domain.
- Proven track record in managing end-to-end solar (utility-scale/C&I), wind, hybrid, or BESS projects.
- Experience across multiple delivery models – EPC, IPP/Developer model, and O&M.
