As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services in AWS. This includes managing and optimizing cloud resources, developing automation scripts, and collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and other DevOps tools.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, leveraging native services like EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operations.
  • Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
  • Use AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure in code and manage deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, cloud security, deployment processes, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment processes.
  • Monitor, log, and improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and AWS services.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Bash, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
