Are you ready to take on a challenging role as a senior engineer?

The company we are working with is a leading player in the steel and mining industry, committed to building a better world with innovative low-carbon solutions.

As a senior engineer, you will be part of a global team that focuses on digitalization efforts in the commercial area. You will lead project management, create requirements documents with business teams, and support them in defining exact needs.

You will also prepare requests for proposals, manage vendor technical answers, facilitate workshops, and perform gap analysis between requirements and solutions.

In addition, you will design and document business processes that incorporate solutions, align business processes across agencies, manage delivery teams in developing and implementing applications, collaborate with technical demand teams and business change managers, and prepare and execute key user training.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • a BE/BTech or Master's Degree
  • SAP Commerce Cloud certification (highly preferred)
  • 4-6 years of experience in SAP Commerce Cloud and Hybris (add-on)
  • extensive experience as a SAP Commerce Cloud Developer with strong focus on Hybris, backend development
  • hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud and related services (API, Backoffice, Storefront etc.)
  • experience in FE JavaScript/CSS and SAP Commerce Cloud best practices
  • excellent communication skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • proactivity in managing difficult tasks and schedules in a timely manner
  • constant improvement of knowledge in different areas of Hybris/SAP Commerce Cloud

Preferred attributes include:

  • a good understanding of SAP Solution Manager CHARM/ITSM processes
  • an understanding of ITIL, SOX/ITGC principles
