Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines using IBM DataStage. As a key member of our data warehousing team, you will be responsible for developing ETL jobs, writing optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation, and collaborating with data analysts to implement integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ETL jobs using IBM DataStage.
  • Write optimized SQL queries (Teradata) for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to implement integration solutions.
  • Perform manual and automated data validation and reconciliation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies and ETL failures.
  • Develop reusable DataStage job components and follow data modeling best practices.
  • Monitor ETL jobs and manage dependencies via Job Sequencers or Airflow.
  • Document workflows, mappings, and data dictionaries.
  • SUPPORT cloud migration and integration initiatives.
