Lead Data Scientist – Gen AI

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to drive business outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end initiatives, including business understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. They will analyze and interpret findings, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to enhance business processes.

A key requirement of the role is the ability to support pre-sales activities and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine learning concepts, particularly Generative AI (LLM/LMM) with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) or multi-modal models.

The successful candidate will possess excellent programming skills, familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, and hands-on experience with Docker for containerization. Additionally, they will have expertise in Azure cloud resources and Databricks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-End Initiatives:
  • Business understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Data Analysis:
  • Analyzing and interpreting findings.
  • Recommendations:
  • Drawing conclusions and making recommendations to enhance business processes.
  • Pre-Sales Support:
  • Supporting pre-sales activities and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts, especially Generative AI (LLM/LMM).
  • Experience with NLP or multi-modal models.
  • Excellent programming skills and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud resources and Databricks.
  • Strong business acumen.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with big data and distributed environments.
  • Commercial experience proven by multiple successful projects in Generative AI, NLP, or Computer Vision.

General:

  • Good computer programming skills and familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud resources and Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to come up with creative solutions to address customer problems.
  • Ability to lead small technical teams on projects.
