The role of a data scientist involves leveraging expertise in machine learning and statistics to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, prototype, productionize, maintain and document reliable and scalable data science products in complex environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop impactful data-driven solutions.
  • Carry out data analyses to yield actionable business insights.
  • Develop and implement statistical or machine learning algorithms in collaboration with data engineers and software engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data science tools and approaches.

Requirements:

  • Strong Python skills and intermediate SQL knowledge.
  • Experience building, deploying, and evaluating ML/NLP/GenAI systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud systems, especially Azure preferred.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge.
  • Development experience in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python, Go, Java, C++).
  • Thorough understanding of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics and machine learning.
  • Applied knowledge of data science tools and approaches across all data lifecycle stages.
