Data Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our data architecture and pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have experience with designing scalable and robust data architectures, developing and optimizing data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Scalable Data Architectures: Develop and implement scalable data architectures for data warehousing and enterprise data platforms.
  • Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines: Develop and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT/CDC workflows using tools like Fivetran and Cloud Composer.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and create logical and physical data models.
  • Manage Database Systems: Manage and administer various database systems, including BigQuery, SAP HANA, and PostgreSQL.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms and pipelines.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks, with preference for Python or Go.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and designing microservices for data delivery.
  • Solid grasp of data modeling fundamentals, including Kimball and Inmon methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience with writing complex SQL queries.
