Retail Banking Branch Manager

Job Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing the performance of retail banking branches in Palakkad. The primary focus will be on driving sales, managing branch operations, and ensuring high-quality customer portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage sales, branch operations, and administration for your designated area.
  2. Maintain a high-quality portfolio by identifying opportunities and implementing strategies to improve business outcomes.
  3. Ensure targeted goals are achieved for each branch within your area of responsibility.
  4. Track and oversee repayment of loans disbursed to customers in your area.
  5. Promote and maintain high levels of productivity across all branches under your management.
  6. Develop and implement plans to ensure sufficient staffing levels in each branch to meet desired results.
  7. Provide guidance and support to team members, including Branch Managers and Cluster Managers, to help them achieve their targets.
  8. Cultivate strong relationships with branch teams through regular field visits and provide hands-on support as needed.
  9. Foster a culture of high performance within the sales team and promote teamwork among colleagues.
  10. Build and develop a high-performing team that can achieve outstanding results.
  11. Ensure strict adherence to company policies, processes, regulatory requirements, and RBI guidelines.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-15 years of experience in sales and collection functions, preferably in private commercial banks or large bank environments.
  • Previous experience working in housing finance, loan against property, or business loan sectors is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English languages, with basic Microsoft Office skills.

Graduate degree (any stream) and MBA (preferred) qualifications are required. Professional certifications are an added advantage.
