Linux Embedded System Developer

This role involves the development and maintenance of Yocto-based Embedded Linux distributions.

  • Develop and customize Yocto Project based embedded Linux systems.
  • Design and implement custom board support packages, kernel configurations, bootloaders, and device drivers.
  • Optimize system performance, boot times, and memory usage for embedded devices.
  • Implement secure boot mechanisms and firmware updates.
  • Collaborate with hardware and application teams to debug and resolve system-level issues.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in embedded Linux system development.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Yocto Project.
  • Strong understanding of Linux kernel, U-Boot, device drivers, and C programming.
  • Proficiency in cross-compilation, Git, and debugging tools.
  • Solid understanding of embedded hardware architectures.
