Mortgage Origination Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Origination Manager to lead our team in a high-performing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage origination, with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in US Home Loan products.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Direct day-to-day management, attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance reviews for all junior loan officers (JLs)
  • Possess working knowledge and hands-on expertise for RESPA/TRID review and other federal, state, and industry compliance requirements
  • Interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure a successful close
  • Elevate service levels for customers by assisting in the application process, overseeing all mortgage loan closings, and completing all post-closing requirements quickly
  • Ensure future salability and quality control of residential mortgage loans and refinances by adhering to all lender underwriting guidelines and federal and state regulations
  • Develop and implement coaching and training programs to enhance staff performance
  • Use quality assurance data to drive improvement in lender decision making
  • Identify areas for process improvement and document procedures
  • Create reporting suites for clear communication of performance to team members, peers, management, and executive leadership

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 72-84 months of mortgage origination experience in US Home Loan products
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, including TRID guidelines
  • Management experience in human resources or as operations manager
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good supervision, organization, and math skills
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment skills
