About Performance Test Engineering

Performance test engineers play a crucial role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of software applications.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced performance test engineer to join our team.

  1. A minimum experience of 3 to 5.5 years in performance testing with good hands-on knowledge of scripting using tools like JMeter is required.
  2. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in performance testing concepts, terminologies, and ready to deploy on assignments.
  3. Familiarity with monitoring servers and setting up monitoring counters using tools like Perfmon, Azure Insights, Cloud Watch etc. is expected.
  4. Proficient in analyzing application traffic using tools like Fiddler, Chrome Developer toolbar is preferred.
  5. Coding skills include Java, JavaScript, Shell scripting.
  6. Knowledge of other performance testing tools is an added advantage.
  7. Experience in performance testing over AWS and Azure Cloud platforms is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gather and understand performance testing requirements effectively.
  2. Create load generation scripts using tools like JMeter.
  3. Apply customization in scripts as required.
  4. Setup monitoring required and capture results.
  5. Generate performance test reports from collected data.
  6. Interact with stakeholders about error/issues faced effectively.
