SAP Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP security professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing SAP user access, roles, and authorizations.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP systems, implementing security policies, and resolving authorization issues to support the smooth operation of our SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and management of SAP user accounts, roles, and authorizations in compliance with security best practices.
- Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to organizational and industry security standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain SAP security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard user access and system integrity.
- Resolve SAP authorization-related issues, working closely with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and provide solutions.
- Work with the SAP Basis and ABAP teams to ensure proper integration of security measures across the SAP landscape, maintaining optimal system performance.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users and internal teams on SAP security best practices, ensuring secure and efficient use of the SAP environment.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on SAP security configurations, roles, and authorization changes, ensuring clear records for audits and system updates.
- Monitor SAP security logs and performance, identifying potential threats or performance issues and taking appropriate corrective action.
