Job Title: Apparel Acquisition Specialist

As a key member of our buying team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our loungewear division. Your primary responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic buying plans to meet sales targets and enhance product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Buying and Merchandising Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs. Develop and implement buying and merchandising strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Source high-quality products at optimal prices, ensuring cost-effectiveness for our brands. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and delivery schedules.
  • Inventory Management: Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure timely deliveries and manage stock levels. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences. Use this information to inform buying decisions and optimize product offerings.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner with designers to develop styles and inform best-seller forecasts. Work closely with marketing and design teams to create visual merchandising promotions and drive sales.
Requirements:
