Backend Java Developer - Microservices Architect

We are seeking an experienced Backend Java Developer to join our team as a Microservices Architect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and a passion for designing and implementing scalable microservices architecture.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Java 8+ backend services with Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA. Additionally, they will design, build, and deploy microservices on Kubernetes (AKS or equivalent) and implement ETL pipelines using Airflow, Spring Batch, or Apache Camel.

Key qualifications include:

  • 8+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8+, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA)
  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and Spring frameworks
  • Experience with ETL tools (Airflow, Spring Batch, Apache Camel)
  • Familiarity with SQL (MS-SQL, PostgreSQL), Snowflake, and NoSQL (Cosmos DB a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS)
  • Familiarity with Kafka and CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred)
