We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the design strategy for our product suite. This role offers a unique chance to shape the future of user experience across internal and external applications.
As the Senior Director, Product Design, you will lead a team of talented designers and be responsible for defining the holistic design vision for our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet user needs and push the boundaries of what is possible with AI.
Responsibilities
- Design Strategy - Define and drive the design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across all applications.
- Team Leadership - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Customer-Facing Influence - Engage in early client discussions to shape design strategy and ensure end-to-end design ownership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Design Ops - Establish and streamline design operations to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency across teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy and goals.
- User Advocacy - Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback to inform design decisions.
- Design Systems - Maintain and establish a centralized design system with standards, patterns, and best practices for designing with AI.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology company.
- Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.

- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Excellent relationship management skills working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
