Infotainment Test Engineer – Manual Testing

Job Title: Infotainment Test Engineer – Manual Testing

We are seeking a skilled Infotainment Test Engineer to join our team for manual testing of infotainment systems in automotive environments.

  • Perform thorough manual testing of infotainment systems, including features such as Bluetooth, Navigation, Media, Connectivity, Voice Recognition, and HMI interactions.
  • Validate system performance, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct system-level, integration, and regression testing to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and validation teams.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in manual testing of embedded systems or infotainment platforms is essential.
  • Familiarity with automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, MOST) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or similar is required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ECE, EEE, CSE, or related).
  • ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience with OEMs or Tier-1 automotive suppliers is beneficial.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have strong analytical skills. They should also have a solid understanding of automotive systems and protocols.
