Job Title: Power BI Developer

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Reporting Specialist to design and develop interactive and informative business intelligence reports using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing powerful Power BI reports, dashboards, and scorecards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Building Analysis Services reporting models and connecting data sources to import data into Power BI
  • Transforming data for business intelligence purposes and creating visual reports using Power BI desktop
  • Implementing row-level security on data and understanding application security layer models in Power BI
  • Creating DAX queries in Power BI desktop and utilizing advanced-level calculations on datasets
  • Designing methodology and project documentation for data-driven projects
  • Developing tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards
  • Communicating effectively with client teams and internal teams to understand requirements and discuss solutions

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience in Power BI development
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive attitude and open-minded approach
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS)
  • Knowledge of database fundamentals (multidimensional database design, relational database design)
  • Familiarity with data analytics and SQL
  • Experience with large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects using Azure and Synapse
