The successful candidate will be responsible for tax return preparation, conducting in-depth research on tax laws and regulations, building strong client relationships, and providing financial statement analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Develop comprehensive tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize benefits.
  • Conduct thorough tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Build and maintain effective client relationships through regular communication and timely delivery of tax services.
  • Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure precision and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
