Job Title: Global Tax Manager

About the Role:

  • Tax Compliance:
    • Maintain global tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and payments.
    • Coordinate with external tax advisors and local finance teams to manage compliance in various jurisdictions.
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on our operations.
  • Tax Planning & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize our global tax position.
    • Identify opportunities for tax savings and incentives across different countries.
    • Advise senior management on the tax implications of business decisions, mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Tax Accounting & Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation of tax provisions and disclosures in our financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 740, IFRS).
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate tax risks through robust controls and processes.
    • Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities, ensuring favorable outcomes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of tax professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Requirements:

  • CA/CS/CMA/ACCA/CFA/CPA or Law degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international tax, with a mix of public accounting and corporate tax experience.
  • Strong knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and practices.
  • Proficiency in tax compliance software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
