Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finalize Engineering concepts for MEP services, ensuring compliance with GMP and other applicable standards.
  • Review/Approve MEP drawings & documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure Installation of MEP services in accordance with predetermined schedules and quality standards.
  • Perform cost estimations and schedule deliverables for the project.
  • Monitor onsite and offsite MEP activities to comply with building and safety regulations.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for statutory approvals as required.
  • Coordinate weekly project meetings with consultants and contractors, resolving conflicts and technical hurdles.
  • Oversee Installation activities, ensuring they proceed according to plan.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate team efforts to achieve project goals, including consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers.
  • Regularly monitor construction progress, holding status meetings with sub-teams.
  • Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
  • Document Project Change control management as per agreed procedures.
  • Ensure all project documents are complete.

Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with relevant industry experience.
  • Deep understanding of MEP services within pharmaceutical facilities, including mechanical, piping, HVAC, clean room, and black & utility services.
  • Good knowledge of project management principles, including planning, cost management, time management, construction management, quality management, contract administration, and safety management.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
