Project Manager - MEP Services

This is a challenging opportunity to oversee the delivery of MEP packages, including design and end-to-end management. As a seasoned professional with experience in managing multiple projects in Mechanical/HVAC/Clean room/Black Utilities/Facility Qualifications/Firefighting services, you will be responsible for handling complex timelines and ensuring that all projects are completed within scope, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Finalize Basic and Detailed Engineering concepts (Mechanical/HVAC/Modular Panel/Utility/Firefighting & other disciplines).
  • Review and approve MEP services drawings and documents supplied by consulting firms.
  • Ensure Installation/Execution of MEP package services align with GMP, GEP, ISPE, and applicable standards.
  • Perform in-depth review of project schedules and estimate costs.
  • Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations and perform due diligence on installation trends, materials, quality, reliability, and cost.
  • Prepare drawing and documents required for statutory approvals.
  • Conduct weekly project coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and mediate conflicts.
  • Participate in resolving technical hurdles during project executions with consultant help.
  • Ensure Installation activities move according to predetermined schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project.
  • Coordinate efforts of all parties involved in the project, including consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and laborers.
  • Monitor progress of construction activities and hold regular status meetings with sub-teams.
  • Maintain adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
  • Follow and document Project Change control management procedures.
  • Ensure project documents are complete.
Essential Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Chemical/FMCG Industry.
  • Deep understanding of Project MEP services like Mechanical/Piping/HVAC/Clean room/Black & Clean Utility services within pharmaceutical Formulation facilities.
  • Good knowledge of Project Management skills, including Project planning, Cost Management, Time Management, Construction management, Quality Management, Contract Administration, Safety Management, and Statutory approvals management.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Good English language skills, both spoken and written.
