Job Title: Lead Design Director

We are seeking an accomplished Lead Design Director with 3–4 years of professional experience in residential and commercial design to lead our team's design initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute comprehensive design strategies for residential, commercial, or institutional projects from concept to execution.
  • Develop and review architectural drawings, presentations, and detailed construction documents ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with consultants (MEP, structural, landscape, fire, HVAC, etc.) to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication, presentations, and project updates.
  • Evaluate designs against building codes, bye-laws, and statutory regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee site execution support, review contractor drawings, and respond to queries.
  • Mentor junior architects and interns providing guidance on accuracy and quality.
  • Participate in project scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
  • 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in architecture firms.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office, with knowledge of BIM being beneficial.
  • Thorough understanding of building codes, NBC, and local authority regulations.
  • Strong design acumen, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills for client and consultant coordination.
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
