Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, programming, installing, and troubleshooting HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop BMS and power management projects scope of work, schedule, budget, and level of efforts (LOE) to projects requested by customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS improvement projects in data centers.
  • Assist in procurement related activities including request for quotation/proposals, responding to request for information, review of vendors proposal and issuance of purchase orders.
  • Support Controls projects related commissioning activities in the data centers.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc).
  • Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software and networks.
  • Develop and modify controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navigate challenging situations.
  • Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers.
  • TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
