Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Risk Management Strategist to join its Enterprise Functions Control Management Team Strategy, Planning & Governance Team.

In this role, you will participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within Control Management functional area. You will provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls.

You will monitor moderately complex business specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies. You will also monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area.

Additionally, you will provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk. You will collaborate with relevant business groups to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support complex initiatives with broad impact which are designed to mitigate current and emerging business issues and concerns
  • Act as a key participant in large-scale, cross-functional planning for Enterprise Functions
  • Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring a solid understanding of Control Organization operations
  • Facilitate decision-making and problem resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Influence and lead key business partners to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Demonstrate negotiation skills, especially with difficult topics when partnering with senior management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Relevant experience in business strategy, business management, Finance, transformation & advisory
  • Very strong written communication skills, with excellent planning and/or program management skills
  • Able to create presentations for senior executive levels on initiatives, Programs, and business reviews
  • Bachelor's, M.A./M.Sc. College Degree or Higher in engineering, accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Please note that salary ranges may vary based on individual qualifications and company needs.
