Geospatial Data Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Geospatial Data Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data to support informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have minimum 4+ years of experience in data analysis and be knowledgeable with various ESRI products - ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.

  • Data Collection and Management: Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources. Require knowledge of image analysis techniques like band combinations, pixel depth, and image strip artifacts removal.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data
  • ETL operations: ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server. Internally develop or collaborate with third-party vendors to deploy solutions based on business requirements.
  • GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, analysts, and external partners, to comprehend data requirements.
  • Create training materials and Conduct trainings to customers as required.
  • Support trade shows and Esri conferences as required.
  • Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends: Engage in continuous professional development to uphold expertise in GIS technology, data analysis, and AI.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Image analysis: Familiarity with Image processing techniques.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to business partners, peers, and various levels of management.

Non-Negotiable Skills

  • Working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on Esri platform.
  • Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
  • Should be ready for travelling & work at the client site if required.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.
