Data Analyst/Scientist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst/Scientist to join our team. As a Data Analyst/Scientist, you will play a key role in leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to extract insights, build predictive models, and develop AI-powered solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business understanding, data understanding/preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment of solutions – following CRISP-DM methodologies.
  • Understanding of optimization methodologies including linear/integer/nonlinear programming and heuristics for finding the best solution to the business problem.
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plans, data processing, feature engineering, hypothesis testing, and model deployment.
  • Proactive approach for areas where improvement is needed, such as suggesting improvements to existing pipelines (tests, support, and improvements).
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 2+ years of DS/Operations Research experience.
  • Experience in optimization methodologies, including the use of various optimization libraries (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, ortools, etc.).
  • Strong Python coding skills (including object-oriented programming concepts), including the use of ML libraries and basic working knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience working in cloud technologies (preferred MS Azure, GCP nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with the theory behind various machine learning concepts.
  • Experience in CRISP-DM project delivery and Agile projects (like Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plans, data processing, feature engineering, models evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment.
  • Experience in working with client-facing roles.
  • Able to apply independent research, gather information, and give recommendations on how to solve problems of diverse scope.
  • Great communication skills.
