Audio Visual Consultant

The role involves working as a skilled professional in the field of audio visual consulting. This entails providing expert advice and services to clients on all aspects of audio visual systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Gathering: Gather requirements from end-users or customers for audio visual related projects.
  2. Solution Design: Design solutions based on received briefs and gathered requirements.
  3. Business Approval: Obtain business approval for proposed audio visual solutions.
  4. Design Delivery: Provide final designs to collaboration heads or vendor management teams for quotes from vendors.
  5. Proposal Evaluation: Evaluate technical and commercial proposals received from vendors.
  6. Site Preparation: Coordinate site preparation with CIS/BU teams (civil and MEP) for room readiness required for deployment of AV systems.
  7. Vendor Management: Follow up with vendors for timely delivery according to purchase orders.
  8. Project Coordination: Coordinate end-to-end projects with vendors and internal teams, follow up, and close out dependencies.
  9. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure project execution meets customer satisfaction standards.
  10. Documentation: Maintain extensive project documentation throughout lifecycles.
  11. Quality Check: Conduct quality checks on physical installations.
  12. System Testing: Test and commission AV systems.
  13. Handover: Take handovers from vendors with proper documents, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and equipment specification sheets, to be uploaded to central repositories.
  14. Asset Management: Assist asset management teams in verifying deliveries against purchase orders and providing asset tags for each piece of equipment.
  15. Training: Provide handovers of projects to operations teams or customers with proper training on usage of installed systems.
  16. Support: Offer remote first-level support for maintenance calls.
  17. Troubleshooting: Visit project sites to address issues or troubleshoot when required.
  18. Health Checks: Conduct periodic health checks of AV systems, provide inputs on improvements if necessary.
  19. Proof of Concept: Conduct extensive proof-of-concepts for latest technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working on AV deployment projects for at least 5 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
