Route Optimization Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring safe and optimized weather routing for the entire fleet.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to achieve realistic scheduling from a weather perspective.
  • Engaging with external vendors providing weather data to inform decision-making.
  • Developing and implementing safe thresholds for different vessel sizes.
  • Contributing to innovations, emergency response, and monitoring vessel performance.

Qualifications:

Class 2/3 Certificate or Meteorology Degree with maritime skills. Sailing experience as Chief/2nd Officer or experience with a routing company is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
