Route Optimization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Route Optimization Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safe and optimized weather routing for the entire fleet.


Main Responsibilities:

You will be working closely with our operation teams to ensure realistic scheduling from a weather point of view. This involves liaising with external vendors providing weather data, setting safe thresholds for different vessel sizes, collaborating on innovations, emergency response, and monitoring vessel performance.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess a Class 2/3 certificate or a meteorology degree with maritime skills. Additionally, sailing experience as Chief/2nd officer or experience with a routing company is essential. You should also be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
