Key Financial Leadership Role

This high-impact position involves owning end-to-end finance functions, requiring a strategic mindset to drive business growth and profitability.

You will lead financial initiatives, build a modern finance function for scale, and work closely with leadership to achieve business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quarterly and annual budgets across all functions, aligning with company goals using data-driven planning tools.
  • Build robust forecasting models for revenue, costs, and cash runway to inform strategic decisions.
  • Track key performance indicators—LTV, CAC, NRR, payback period, contribution margins, ROI on marketing spends etc using real-time insights.
  • Drive variance analysis, scenario planning, and cost-benefit assessments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support pricing, hiring, and expansion plans through data-backed financial insights and playbooks.
  • Develop reporting frameworks and dashboards to deliver actionable insights to leadership and function heads.
  • Promote financial discipline and budgeting ownership across teams through clear planning processes.
  • Provide guidance on international taxes and advise the business on regulatory compliance.

    Financial Management Expertise:

    • Manage cash flow to support business continuity and growth.
    • Monitor monthly runway and raise early alerts to leadership.
    • Optimize working capital and the cash conversion cycle using process improvements.

    Business Strategy Support:

    • Collaborate with the leadership team to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
    • Provide financial input during strategic planning sessions and other significant business decisions.

    Reporting & Compliance:

    • Own monthly MIS, board decks, and leadership updates.
    • Lead audit closures and ensure timely statutory filings.
    • Maintain internal controls and adherence to financial regulations.

    Team Leadership & Development:

    • Mentor and grow a strong finance team across functions.
    • Encourage an analytical mindset, and foster a culture of automation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

    Process Setup & Continuous Improvement:

    • Design and institutionalize policies across entities with scalable workflows.
    • Drive automation, accuracy, and efficiency across financial operations.
    • Stay abreast of new technologies, best practices, and regulatory changes.

    Qualifications:

    • CA Qualified / MBA from top-tier institutions/B Schools.
    • Prior experience in Business Finance is required.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Highly competent in working with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Positive attitude and keen to learn.
    • Experience or strong interest in applying analytics in finance workflows.
