Kafka Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Kafka systems administrator to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale Kafka clusters. This will involve ensuring the security, availability, scalability, and fault tolerance of these systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Kafka cluster design, implementation, and management
  • Proficiency in operating system administration (Linux/Unix and Windows Server)
  • Familiarity with big data and Hadoop ecosystem tools (Apache Spark, etc.)
  • Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, GitOps) and CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace) and Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
