Human Resources Leader Job

This role plays a pivotal part in managing all HR activities, from strategic workforce planning to operational HR functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading HR operations and demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving, and employee engagement capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Workforce Planning:
    • Partner with senior management to define and implement the HR strategy that aligns with business goals.
    • Lead organizational design efforts to support business growth.
    • Develop talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
  • Operational HR Management:
    • Oversee HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance.
    • Implement robust HR policies and processes tailored to business needs, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and industry best practices.
    • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes focusing on efficiency and employee experience.
  • Talent Development & Engagement:
    • Lead initiatives for employee training, leadership development, and succession planning to build a strong talent pipeline.
    • Develop performance management systems ensuring regular evaluations, feedback, and career development opportunities.
  • Culture Building & Change Management:
    • Foster a positive work environment reflecting company values, encouraging diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related issues ensuring proactive conflict resolution.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting:
    • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and monitor HR program effectiveness.
    • Regularly report on HR metrics to senior leadership.
  • Leadership & Organizational Development:
    • Lead HR aspects of business transitions including team scaling, mergers, or reorganization efforts.
    • Act as a change agent driving business transformation and cultural alignment initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with prior logistics, supply chain, or similar industry exposure beneficial
  • Experience leading HR for a business unit or vertical with a strong track record of driving business-aligned HR strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices in India.
  • Proven experience handling large diverse teams across multiple locations or business units.
