Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a seasoned data engineer with expertise in designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and architectures.

This individual will serve as a Cloud Development expert, mentoring and guiding other data engineers as they enhance their cloud skillsets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products.
  • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes using a variety of tools and technologies.
  • Support and evolve data models that drive operational and analytical workloads.
  • Modernize legacy systems and migrate workloads to cloud-native platforms.
Cloud Development & DevOps (AWS-Focused)
  • Build, deploy, and manage cloud-native data solutions using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, and Step Functions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
  • Ensure scalability, resilience, and compliance of AWS-based data platforms.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with product managers, analysts, and engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Contribute to the data platform modernization roadmap and support new product delivery.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines. Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks is also required.
