Job Overview

We seek a seasoned Azure Data Architect to drive data-driven innovation. This role entails designing and implementing scalable data architectures, ensuring optimal performance, cost efficiency, and adherence to governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect robust data solutions using Azure Databricks and ADLS aligned with the medallion architecture.
  • Evaluate data extraction, ingestion, and transformation processes for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop governance frameworks and quality standards for data pipelines, collaborating with data engineers to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure optimal performance and alignment with stakeholder requirements.
  • Promote best practices for coding and data pipeline development.
  • Define data modeling requirements to support complex transformations as needed by stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand data transformation needs and ensure models meet those needs effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Technology degree required.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
  • Familiarity with Unity Catalog for data governance and sharing.
  • Hands-on experience with data mesh architectures and distributed data platforms.
  • Expertise in SQL, Python, and Spark for building and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques, including Azure-native solutions.
