Job Title: Data Architect

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the development of our big data ecosystem. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data solutions that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop distributed computing systems using Apache Spark and Hadoop v2.
  • Develop expertise in big data querying tools like Hive and Impala.
  • Lead the integration of data from multiple sources, including RDBMS, ERP, and files.
  • Prioritize performance tuning of Spark Jobs to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement big data solutions using agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • 8 - 12 years of experience in big data and data-related technologies.
  • Expert-level understanding of distributed computing principles and Apache Spark.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Python.
  • Proficiency with HDFS, Sqoop, and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Good understanding of relational schemas, SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and ETL techniques.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like HBase, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
