Job Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Human Resources Strategist to conceptualize and implement HR policies that foster a positive work environment. This is a senior role that requires strategic thinking, effective communication, and leadership skills to drive business growth through people management.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with our organization's objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Promote a performance-driven culture by setting clear goals, conducting timely performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, particularly in multi-location and cross-border contexts.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for academic staff and functional employees, including forecasting talent needs and building strategic hiring pipelines.
  • Partner with academic leadership to optimize the TA strategy and ensure hiring quality, time efficiency, and a world-class candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, documentation, and HR policies in a centralized repository.
  • Evaluate performance metrics against targets and create an HR scorecard to track progress.
  • Foster high engagement levels among team members by addressing employee grievances and promoting a motivational work environment.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in HRBP, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations.
  • Proven exposure to educational, research, or global academic environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, program management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance, especially in multi-location and cross-border contexts.
  • Self-driven, agile, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
