About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Biologist to join our team of experts in developing and fine-tuning large language models. In this challenging role, you will be working on projects that leverage your strong analytical skills and ability to explain complex biological concepts in simple terms.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Biology, particularly at the level expected in PhD-level programs. You will be responsible for designing and solving challenging Biology problems, developing high-quality solutions with clear and rigorous reasoning, and collaborating with researchers to align problem types with evaluation goals.

  • Developing and applying advanced analytical techniques to analyze and solve complex biological problems.
  • Designing and implementing effective training data sets to improve the performance of large language models.
  • Collaborating with researchers to develop and evaluate new evaluation benchmarks based on Biology curricula spanning to PhD-level topics.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or completed Ph.D./Postdoctoral degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations.
  • Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
  • Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
