Job Title: BIM Coordinator

Our team is seeking a highly skilled BIM (Building Information Modelling) Coordinator to support project teams in the use of BIM authoring tools. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Skill 1: Hold weekly coordination meetings with team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Skill 2: Develop and maintain internal BIM standards used in the projects, including standards for modelling tools and object libraries.
  • Skill 3: Conduct early design review and constructability analysis to identify potential issues and improve project delivery.
  • Skill 4: Produce high-quality Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D content for projects.
  • Skill 5: Implement and automate repetitive tasks using Dynamo and other software tools.
  • Skill 6: Develop and maintain BIM project documentation, including BEP, MIDP & TIPD.
  • Skill 7: Implement and maintain the project Common Data Environment (CDE).
  • Skill 8: Monitor project compliance to agreed workflows and ensure timely delivery.
  • Skill 9: Federate models and perform clash detection reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Skill 10: Coordinate and delegate project tasks amongst team members to achieve project goals.
  • Skill 11: Carry out thorough BIM check of models and deliverables produced by team members.
  • Skill 12: Identify and provide required trainings to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Education: Any Graduate or Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in civil / structural engineering design or MEP engineering design.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ISO19650 / BS1192 / PAS1192-2 and industry modelling standards. Familiarity with Navisworks, Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk BIM360 and strong 3D modelling skills.
  • Certifications: EngTech TMICE or similar certification is preferred.
