Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled BIM Modeling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design group, you will be responsible for creating and verifying BIM models and drawings for various projects.

Your primary focus will be on production and verification of BIM models and civil, piping, and equipment drawings for selected projects. You will also take responsibility for technical quality assurance and client feedback, ensuring effective communication of any changes or modifications.

You will work closely with project colleagues in different regions, engaging in safe design requirements, flagging risks, and resolving issues. Your goal will be to drive the culture of checking and accountability in the team, including interdisciplinary checks.

You will collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design. This includes collaborating and coordinating with other disciplines to mitigate design challenges.

In addition, you will be responsible for design health and safety management for the project works, developing BIM execution plans, and following BIM content standards and development procedures.

Finally, you will prepare your own discipline model and/or content for BIM coordination meetings, leveraging BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have a high level of proficiency in BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM 360/ Autodesk Construction Cloud. Additionally, you should have knowledge of Scan to BIM tools and projects, as well as Autodesk Civil 3D.

AutoCAD experience is also desirable, particularly for drawing linkage and cleanup. Finally, you should have a general understanding of interoperability between software used to accomplish your discipline tasks.
