Storage Infrastructure Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Storage Infrastructure Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining high-performance storage systems that meet the needs of our organization.

This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of storage technologies, architectures and protocols. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing enterprise storage systems, including expertise in NetApp, EMC, PURE Storage, Brocade SAN, Cisco SAN Fabric, or similar technologies.

The selected individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage infrastructure with other IT systems. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting.

A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will be able to effectively collaborate with diverse engineering teams to achieve shared goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance storage systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing storage infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for storage configurations and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage infrastructure
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing enterprise storage systems
  • Expertise in NetApp, EMC, PURE Storage, Brocade SAN, Cisco SAN Fabric, or similar technologies
  • Strong knowledge of backup and recovery technologies
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, OpenStack)
  • Proficiency with storage area networks (SAN), storage virtualization, data replication, and clustered storage systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
