Civil Engineer Job Description

As a Civil Engineer, you will oversee daily site activities to ensure work execution aligns with drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.

  • You will coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and laborers for smooth project execution.
  • Maintain efficient resource allocation including manpower, materials, and machinery.
  • Ensure timely completion of project milestones according to the schedule.
  • Maintain accurate site records including daily progress reports, material usage, and work measurement.
  • Assist in preparing bar bending schedules, measurement sheets, and work bills.
  • Perform quality checks for concrete, steel, shuttering, finishing works, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes, company standards, and safety norms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong technical knowledge of construction methods and standards is essential.
  • Proficiency in reading drawings and specifications is also required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 1-3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development, and land use permitting are necessary.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and strong organizational, analytical, communication skills, and design skills are preferred.
