Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing cybersecurity projects from initiation to closure. The Cybersecurity Project Specialist will work closely with stakeholders to identify security needs and develop project requirements.

  • The position requires planning, executing, and managing cybersecurity projects, adhering to timelines and ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all stakeholders to develop project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Plan security activities and manage system architecture related to cybersecurity requirements.
  • Manage Project Cybersecurity related communication and report on status.
  • In case of external Cybersecurity audit, manage the relationship with auditors and establish lessons learned.
  • Define and follow-up action plans to close cyber security issues.
  • Promote Cybersecurity awareness within the team and suppliers.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable security requirements and distribute information to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Ability to communicate cybersecurity and technology risks effectively in layman's terms.

Ability to translate cybersecurity into the realm of expertise and day-to-day responsibilities.

Understanding of IT and Security technologies.

Understanding of cybersecurity risks and risk management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong oral and written communication skills.

Resourceful, creative and highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Collaboration tools and ability to create/modify SharePoint & Teams content.
