Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Cybersecurity Architect to lead the implementation of ICS cybersecurity measures. This role involves overseeing all phases of ICS Cybersecurity (Work Practices) including implementation, deployment, and stewardship. Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing local operating procedures, performing access reviews, and periodic verification for ICSE. Supporting the application of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety/security criteria. Meeting industry standards (IEC 62443, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, etc.) and regulatory requirements pertaining to ICS Cybersecurity.

  • Implementing cyber-secure architecture of controls and safety systems
  • Supporting management and assessment of cybersecurity controls and providing relevant improvement recommendations
  • Performing data collection and analysis related to ICSR using common database and software data analysis tools
  • Supporting the implementation of technologies for ICSR
  • Inventory listing and updating BU ICSR inventory list in the WP-recommended format
  • Assessing threats to control systems, including taking inventory of required templates/documents, determining key components/equipment for risk assessments, stewarding/participating in risk assessments, assigning risk ratings, identifying controls for the risk scenario/threat vector, obtaining endorsement/approvals from Custodian and/or Business Owner, and performing periodic verifications to ensure approved risk-reduction controls are in place and functioning
  • Identifying and supporting required updates to documentation related to ICSR, organizing required documents in designated folders, monitoring and approving access to ICSR folders/documentation via IT Help, ensuring alignment with end-users on updates, documenting deviations for ICSR non-compliant systems, and documenting all local operating procedures applicable to ICS environment
  • Supporting stewardship of controls for third-party services, including documenting processes/procedures for Third Party Access, maintaining/verifying controls pertaining to Third Party access and External Connections, collaborating with ENC task force team, performing risk assessments for systems with ICSE External Connections, completing controls catalogs to meet ICSR requirements for external connections, and ensuring certification
  • Supporting training activities for alignment on ICSR, providing staff, visitors, and guests who may have access to in-scope equipment with a brief training document, following Industrial Control Systems Visitor/Guest ICSR Communication checklist, and training BU personnel in performing Risk Assessments/Threat Vector Assessments using ASSET/Other Tools, if any
  • Supporting documentation of Cybersecurity Emergency Response Plan (CSERP) and Disaster Recover Plan (DRP), facilitating/participating in CSERP/DRP drills/table-top exercise, documenting reports, implementing drill recommendations, and updating the CSERP/DRP if necessary
  • Reviewing advisories/vulnerability notifications pertaining to ICSE in scope equipments, documenting forward path/mitigations/workaround, executing/planning for implementation
